Vivo V1 Max with Snapdragon 615 SoC launched for Rs. 21,980
Vivo has announced the V1 smartphone for the Indian market. The phone was introduced in July alongside Vivo V1 Max which later went on sale for Rs. 17,980. The V1 Max sports a 6.79mm thin metal clad body. There is a dual speaker powered by Hi-Fi audio chip.
The Vivo V1 Max has dual-SIM slot and runs Funtouch 2.1 UI on top of Android 5.0 Lollipop. It comes with 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is equipped with Snapdragon 615 64-bit processor clocked at 1.4GHz with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB RAM. The storage capacity is 16GB, further expandable via microSD card up to 128GB.
For imaging, there is a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front shooter for cliciking selfies.The cameras are supported by face recognition technology for gender Beautification mode. On the connectivity front, the phone supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, Micro-USB and GPS/A-GPS. Fueling the phone is a 2720mAh battery. Other features include Smart Wake 2.0 and Smart screenshots for long screen shot, funny screen shots and screen recording.
The Vivo V1 Max is priced at Rs. 21,980 and is expected to go on sale in the first week of September.
