Lenovo sells over 500,000 units of K3 Note in less than 2 months in India

Lenovo sells over 500,000 units of K3 Note in less than 2 months in India
At Rs. 10,000, Lenovo K3 Note packs some impressive specs and has all the elements and features expected of a good phone. Initially launched in China, back in March this year, it reached the Indian shores in June. For selling the K3 Note in Indian market, Lenovo partnered with Flipkart and used the flash sale model to sell the device. In the first flash sale, Lenovo sold almost 50,000 units of the K3 Note and since then have been doing very well.

Now, Lenovo has announced that it has sold more than 500,000 units of K3 Note- including Black, White and Yellow color variants, in India in less than two months since its launch. This is an impressive feat considering the fact that Lenovo sold all K3 Note units via online, a sales model that was popularised by Xiaomi. Moreover, Lenovo has become the biggest competitor to its Chinese counterpart Xiaomi in the country.

Lenovo has already introduced a handful of phones under Rs. 10,000 range in the Indian market, including A6000, A6000 Plus and A7000. Last month it launched A2010, the cheapest 4G LTE smartphone in India.

To recap, Lenovo K3 Note features 5.5-inch Full HD display, octa-core MediaTek MT6752 64-bit processor with Mali T760 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable storage, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, Android Lollipop and 3000mAh battery.
