Apple unveils Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard for iPad Pro

Apple at its special event in San Francisco introduced Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard accessories for the iPad Pro.

Apple Pencil is a precision input device which can be used for drawing and sketching on the iPad Pro. The Apple Pencil has advanced sensors that measures both pressure and tilt for fast and fluid drawing. The technology that reads the touch on the screen has been redesigned to recognize the difference between different Pencil strokes and a finger touch.

The battery lasts for several hours and it's able to be recharged via the iPad Pro through a built-in Lightning connector. Apple Pencil works with popular apps including Mail, Notes, Procreate and Office 365 for iPad, offering new levels of productivity.

Apple's new Smart Keyboard is a full sized keyboard in a thin, durable design so you can carry it anywhere. It attaches to the iPad Pro's Smart Connector port, eliminating the need for a separate battery, on/off switch or Bluetooth pairing. It is covered in custom woven fabric and features keys that provide accuracy and stability. The keyboard is very easy to fold and can also be used as a Smart Cover. It works seamlessly with iOS 9's new QuickType feature to make typing faster and easier.
 
The Apple Pencil will cost $99 and the Smart Keyboard will be priced at $169, both will ship November.
