Lenovo Phab Plus with 6.8-inch display, Snapdragon 615 SoC announced
In case Samsung Galaxy Note5 and Galaxy S6 edge+'s 5.7-inch display is small for you then Lenovo has something bigger that may tempt you. The Chinese tech giant has launched a phone with 6.8 display and is calling it Phab Plus. The same device was certified by TENAA in June.
Lenovo Phab Plus features 6.8-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 64-bit processor with Adreno 405 GPU 2GB RAM and 32GB storage.
For imaging there is 13-megapixel Omnivision camera with Dual-LED flash and the on the front sits a 5-megapixel to shoot selfies. It has dual sim functionality and on the connectivity front the phone supports 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port.
Considering the large display size, Lenovo has packed a large 3500mAh battery. There is also Dolby Atmos surround sound. With Dolby Atmos, you'll enjoy audio with more definition and greater clarity. The device measures 96.6 x 186.6 x 7.6 mm, weighs 220 grams and comes in Metallic Grey, Midnight Blue, Neon Pink and Elegant Silver platinum colors
Lenovo Phab Plus is priced at CNY 2,599 ($406 | Rs. 27,000) and will be available exclusively via China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile. There is no word on its global availability.
Earlier this year, Huawei launched P8 Max which also has 6.8-inch display.
