Lenovo's most affordable smartphone in the India, A2010, will now be available without any registration via Flipkart. The phone hit the Indian market back in August for Rs. 4,990 and went on sale exclusively via Flipkart through flash sale on September 3.

It is not known how long the phone will be available through open sale, but its likely to be permanent. Notably, Lenovo's K3 Note, A6000 Plus and A7000 are also available without registration currently.

"A2010 is perhaps the most value for money LTE device in India. As per IDC’s Asia/ Pacific Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker, Q2, 2015 (August 2015 release), Lenovo is the fifth largest smartphone brand with 4.4 per cent share of the Indian smartphone market in Q2 2015,” said Lenovo

Lenovo A2010 was launched in the country as the cheapest 4G phone, dethroning ZTE Blade Qlux 4G and Phicomm Energy 653 carrying the price tag 4,999. It is cheaper by mere Rs. 9.

The Android Lollipop-powered Lenovo A2010  comes with a compact 4.5-inch display. It comes with a 64-bit 1GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable memory, 5MP/2MP cameras, 4G LTW, dual-SIM slots, and a 2,000mAh battery.

Several companies including Xiaomi that usually sell their mobile products via flash sales initially have now started selling them via open sale (without registration). Companies like Motorola and Asus don't use the flash sale model to sell their products and refill the stocks when it runs out.
