Motorola Moto X Play to launch in India on September 14

Motorola is all set to bring the Moto X play to India. The company has sent out press invites for the launch of Moto X Play in the country on September 14.

The company also teased the launch of Moto X Play on its official Twitter India account by posting an image which read "No more getting dumped by your phone. Your perfect partner is coming with 30 hours of battery backup. #XOMotoX". The phone. In addition Flipkart has dedicated a page to the Moto X Play, so it is expected to go on sale on the same day it is launched.

To remind you, the Moto X Play was launched back in July as a toned-down variant of Moto X Style. It features 5.5-inch 1080p display and is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 64-bit processor with 2GB RAM. It comes in two storage models- 16GB and 32GB, which can be further expanded via microSD card up to 128GB. For imaging there is 21-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and 5-megapixel front shooter. The 4G LTE enabled phone is fueled by 3630mAh battery.

There is no word on pricing of the Motorola Moto X Play, but a recent Zauba listing revealed the declared value for the imported unit to be Rs. 22,228. This is not the final retail price due to the exclusion of taxes and other charges.
