Samsung executive teases Gear S2 smartwatch
Samsung's Gear S2 smartwatch will be announced at IFA 2015, Berlin in September. The company has already showed off its forthcoming Gear S2 smartwatch pretty extensively a few weeks ago at its Galaxy Unpacked event.
But before the official unveiling is about to happen, Dennis Miloseski, Vice President of Samsung Design America is showing us how the new smartwatch will look like.
Miloseski posted a photo of Gear S2 on his Instagram account that offers a clear look at the smartwatch. In his post, he wrote, "Giving the new Samsung Gear S2 a test drive."As you can see the photo shows a watch face of a moon phase along with date and day dials. It looks more like a traditional timepiece.
We have already seen a teaser of the Galaxy S2. It will have a round dial and the body will be of metal. The watch will run Tizen OS and have circular navigation ring around its display. Some of the other features include watch faces, fitness tracking abilities, heart rate sensor, S health app, etc. Reports suggest that Gear S2 will come with built-in SIM support for 3G and voice calling capabilities.
Samsung's Gear S2 will be officially unviled at IFA 2015, Berlin, starting September 3.
